Walmart has announced its plans for Black Friday 2017, and the retail giant will have over 100 games on sale starting at $9. And some of the deals kick off today.
Walmart has posted a preview of its Black Friday 2017 circular, and there will be plenty of deals to be had, starting today through the store’s official website.
The chain is one of the more competitive retailers out there, and has a tendency to match a lower price from an online retailer on an identical, in-stock product online. Conditions always apply obviously, but it’s best to check. Also, if you purchase something from the store and find the price has been lowered by the store within its eligible return window, you can ask for an adjustment. That said, the store manager on duty has the final decision on any price match, so keep in mind it won’t always work. You can always try, though.
That’s something else to keep an eye on as competition becomes rampant over the holiday shopping season.
Keep in mind the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One X are listed at full retail price through Walmart. Console discounts are typically set by system makers, and it’s extremely rare to find a discount on a brand spanking new console like Xbox One X. These consoles will run the current price of $299 and $499, respectively.
As we keep reminding you, be sure to bookmark our Black Friday 2017 pages to keep up with all the savings. We update them daily.

Starting today through November 12, you can pick up Xbox One S 500GB Bundle for $249 as a special buy. Along with the console, you can choose between one of three games to include in the bundle: Call of Duty: WW2, FIFA 18 standard edition or Ghost Recon Wildlands.
You also get a choice between the standard black Xbox One wireless controller or the Winter Forces Special Edition controller.
Then you can choose one of five 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray films. My personal selection would be The Fifth Element instead of Passengers, The Magnificent Seven, Underworld: Blood Wars or Battleship. But that’s just me.
In all, you will save $138.84 or 56% by purchasing this particular bundle. Not a bad deal at all considering you’re getting a console, controller, free game and a 4K movie.
The options above are also part of the Xbox One S 500GB Ultimate Halo Bundle. It comes with the aforementioned choices along with download codes for Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection for $249. This is honestly the better deal because you’re also getting the entire Halo collection.
The majority of Walmart’s Black Friday 2017 deals can be accessed on the official website starting at 12:01am ET on Thanksgiving morning. Then on November 24, Black Friday deals begin in Walmart stores starting at 6pm local time.
Please note “special buy” items mean there are limited quantities. This means buy before they are gone, basically. Fore example: Need for Speed Payback will cost $29, and doesn’t even release until tomorrow, November 10.
