Everspace is great to play, but it doesn’t hurt that it also produces stunning trailers.
Everspace, the space combat roguelite from Rockfish, is quickly approaching its official release on PC, and Xbox One. The game has been in Steam Early Access since September, and it’s grown quite a bit since then.
The biggest new addition outside of the revamped UI, and new ships, is a fully-voiced story. The early versions featured a loose story, with acceptable voice acting, but the updated release brings with it professional-grade acting. The end sector has also seen lots of updates, adding in a boss fight and a few other enhancements to make the trip worth it.
Today’s trailer shows off the game’s impressive graphics, and the action you’ll be seeing, whether you play it in third or first-person. Everspace is run-based, similar to other roguelite games, but your ship grows with every run.
Everspace officially launches May 26 on PC, and Xbox One.
