SNES Classic Mini in stock at UK retailer Argos, but you’ll need to fork out upfront

SNES Classic Mini pre-orders are live at Argos, pre-orders require full payment in advance.

Nintendo announced the SNES Classic Mini this week and it’s been a right bugger to get hold of one.

GAME, Smyth’s, and Amazon UK are all out of stock, as is Nintendo’s UK site – although you can sign up to be notified when more become available.

Nintendo has promised that there will be “significantly more” stock than the NES Mini to avoid a repeat of that situation, but with ebay scalpers playing silly buggers and hiking up prices for their ‘pre-orders’, getting your hands on one seems nigh on impossible.

The good news is that Argos now has stock of the console. The bad news is that there’s no limit per customer.

But be warned, Argos pre-orders are charged at the point of purchase, so if GAME’s £50 deposit had you in a tizzy, this is really going to upset you.

The good thing is that it may discourage people from ordering a ton of mini consoles as they’d have to pay upfront.

At the time of writing, there seems to plenty in stock, so head over now to get your pre-order in before they’re all gone. Good luck!
