Activision has announced that the Call of Duty Endowment charitable fund is expanding to the UK.
The Call of Duty Endowment is charity that helps veterans find high-quality jobs after returning home. It has been operating in the US since 2009, with the goal of enabling 50,000 veterans to find jobs by 2019.
So far, the fund helped over 37,000 US veterans find full-time jobs, according to Activision. The UK expansion will see the Endowment partner with select UK charities, with the list to be revealed in the coming months.
Players can fund this effort by buying the Call of Duty Endowment Double Duty calling card digitally in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The calling card is animated, and every purchase comes with three rare supply drops.
“All proceeds received by Activision, as a result of sales of these digital items to UK consumers, will go towards Endowment programmes dedicated to finding veterans high quality work,” Activision said.
This bundle is available starting today in the UK.
