Destiny 2 is pretty much the talk of the gaming world right now, and even though it's not on mobile (we wish), Destiny Companion [Free], the game's mobile app, is an essential part of the game, and it just became even more useful starting today. Specifically, the game launched without its Clan features, but Bungie has switched them on today, and the best way to create and manage your clans is through the Destiny Companion app. As Bungie details, the Destiny Companion allows you to view other Clan profiles, read their Mission Statements and members, and in general enjoy the game's "culture" (as Bungie calls it). If you want to either join or create a Clan, the Destiny Companion allows you to create and edit Clan Banners, edit the Clan Name, Motto, and Mission Statement, view players' XP contributions, and also track your own weekly contribution.
And, of course, you can use the Destiny Companion to communicate with your clan using the various text chat channels that Clan Founders and Admins can create. Clan Forums are only available on the Destiny Companion Mobile App (not on Bungie.net), which makes the app pretty essential. There are a lot more Clan-related actions you can take from the Destiny Companion app (which you can check in detail here), so you should go grab it if you haven't already.
