'Minecraft' Is Adding Coordinates in the Next Update

Good news, Minecraft [$6.99] players. Minecraft's Better Together update is going to finally add coordinates to the game, which might not sound like a big thing but actually can be quite a big deal. Coordinates can make the vast, infinite worlds of Minecraft much more manageable, especially if you're the kind of player who likes to travel far from the original spawn point. The map's three coordinates allow you to find any spot on the map quickly. The Java version (the PC one) allows you to check your coordinates through the Debug screen, but no such thing exists on the mobile version. And while there were add-ons that allowed you to see your coordinates, the new addition in Better Together will be a step towards making them much easier to find.

Keep in mind, though, that the version of coordinates we are getting in the next update will still mess with any achievements because it will be considered a cheat. However, the developers are working on a better, permanent solution that won't disable achievements, but won't be coming in the next update. It will be fun to have coordinates easily accessible, especially if you're on servers and want to meet up with friends. No date for when the update will hit yet, but I hope it's not too far into the future.
