The first Pokemon Sun and Moon distribution celebrating the upcoming theatrical release of Pokemon the Movie 20: I Choose You is live.
Pokemon Sun and Moon players can grab a code for a Pikachu wearing one of Ash’s six hats.
As previously reported, only one Pikachu can be redeemed, so players will have to choose which one they like best.
If Pikachu wearing Ash’s original trainer’s hat is preferred, Sun and Moon players have until September 25 to claim it.
Each version will only be available for one week at a time. Starting next week on September 26, Pikachu wearing Ash’s Honnen hat will be available until October 2.
The full distribution schedule for the hat-wearing Pikachu, along with cap type, can be found through the link. Pokemon Sun and Moon players can be acquire the code through the Pokemon website.
Pokemon the Movie 20: I Choose You will arrive in select US and international theaters for two days only, November 5-6.
Those who attend the screening will be handed a Pokemon TCG card of Ash’s Pikachu wearing its trainer’s hat. They will also be given a QR code to unlock the Pikachu in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will release for 3DS on November 17.
