Monster Hunter World weapons Insect Glaive, Switch Axe, Dual Blades, more showed off in latest gameplay demo

A new look at the E3 2017 gameplay demo from the Monster Hunter World team was shown during a livestream this morning.

Again, while the demo is nothing new, there were some differences between it and the Monster Hunter World demo shown at E3.

Specifically, the weapons used were different and the gameplay was slightly different in flow.

The stream provided a look at the Dual Blade, Insect Glaive, Switch Axe and Light Bowgun in action, as well as the Rocksteady Mantle, and a few other environmental interactions.

Arekkz breaks it all down for you in the video.

A previous look at the weapons in Monster Hunter World was provided just this week, so if you missed the video, take a look at it. You can also find a more through breakdown of what each of the 14 weapons are and their purpose.

Announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One at E3 this year for an early 2018 release.

Capcom reiterated the release window today in its latest financial briefing, stating Monster Hunter World would release during the second half of the current fiscal year.

This means to expect it before March 31, which again, is “early 2018.” The new fiscal year in Japan starts on April 1, so unless the game is delayed, expect it to stay slotted where it is on the calendar.
