Overwatch’s new Junkertown map is now playable on the PTR

Overwatch PC players can dive into the new map right now.

Overwatch’s new map, Junkertown, was revealed last week at Gamescom and is a Junkrat-related arena set in the Australian Outback.

Attendees got the chance to try out the map last week, but Blizzard has yet to confirm a release date.

The good news is that Junkertown is now available to play on the PTR for PC players, so if that’s your platform of choice, you can hop on right now and give it a whirl.

Other recent changes in the PR include nerfing Mercy. D’Va and Reinhardt have also been tweaked. You can check out the full patch notes on the hero changes here.

Meanwhile, in the game proper, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch are live with update 1.14.

Match-wide voice chat has also been added for Deathmatch and Custom Games, and player reporting has been enabled on PS4 and Xbox One.

If you’re an Overwatch PC player, feel free to let us know how you get on with the new map in the comments below.
