Call of Duty: WW2 players who placed their pre-orders digitally through the PlayStation Store are now able to download the full beta.
The download comes in at just over 16GB. Those who pre-ordered at retail will still need a token from their retailer, which Activision is currently in the process of sending out.
You should receive yours no later than the beta’s starting time on Friday, August 25. As you’re probably aware, this first weekend is exclusive to PS4, and only for those who pre-ordered.
In the US, Comcast Xfinity customers can get a free beta code by using their customer number at a specific website.
Now that we’ve covered that, here’s when the beta goes live:
- 10am PT
- 1am ET
- 6pm BST
- 7pm CEST
This first round ends at the same times above on Monday, August 28. Now onto the second round.
This one includes both PS4, and Xbox One. Xbox One owners are able to pre-load starting Tuesday, August 29 at 10am PT, 1am ET, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST. This second and final round of the beta starts on Friday, September 1 at the same times above, and ends on Monday, September 4.
A PC beta is going to happen, but Activision has not said when just yet.
As far as beta content, here’s what you’re getting:
- Three modes – Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint
- Three maps – Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar
- War Mode operation Breakout
- Five Divisions to choose from
