Prey is this week’s obvious headliner. Arkane’s take on the property is a psychological thriller and an immersive sim in the finest traditions of that family. Although it feels a lot like Deus Ex, it gets inside your head. A demo is available on PS4 and Xbox One if you’re keen for a taster.
In other news, Nioh’s big Dragon of the North DLC arrives. As well as tougher challenges and new weapons, it includes a confrontation with the legendary Masamune Date, who was a significant badass even before Koei Tecmo got all yokai on him.
Dreamfall Chapters is coming to PS4 and Xbox One digitally, and since the whole series is available in one package now and has been upgraded to a newer version of Unity, it’s a great time to check out this long awaited adventure.
Sports fans in Australia and probably about six people elsewhere will be pleased to see the new AFL Evolution drop. The new AFL Women’s league is in it and everything. JRPG fans on PC can finally check out the latest Legend of Heroes, too.
