We got a good long look at Vignettes back at GDC, and I've played builds of the game in various competitions I've judged around then. It's a cool experience, but I'm really excited for it to get released to see what people think of it as you sort of need to cross your eyes a bit to see it as a game. The basic idea is you're rotating objects in 3D space to find other objects hidden inside that space. The latest teaser shows exactly what I'm talking about:
The journey of the game (or whatever we're calling it) is discovering all the objects hidden inside of it. I have a feeling to launch is going to be super polarized, split between people who think it's super cool and others who just... don't get it. I'm not sure where I'll be sitting when the dust settles, but I'm excited to see it play out! Vignettes should launch this month, so, stay tuned for that debate.
