Xbox Live Deals: This week’s Deals with Gold and Spotlight sales are live, discounts on Farming Simulator 17, Blood Bowl 2, more

This week’s Xbox Live Spotlight and Deals with Gold sales are up and running, but it’s a bit of a weak group this time around.

Highlights include 25% off the seminal farm-em-up, Farming Simulator 17: Platinum Edition, which includes the base game, along with the Platinum expansion that adds a new South-American environment, crops and vehicles to the package.

Despite its simple appearance, Farming Simulator sold more than 1 million copies during its first month on sale, and has a 92% positive review score on Steam – so if you’re in any way interested, it could be worth a shot.

Don’t be too worried about buying a 17 game in 2018 either, main Farming Simulator games tend to go in bi-annual cycles (the last one was 15), with mobile titles coming in even numbered years.

There’s also 67% off American football and Warhammer cross-over Blood Bowl 2, as well as 50% off The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2 and 35% off the excellent roguelike rhythm game, Crypt of the Necrodancer.

The only item to appear in the Spotlight section this week is 25% off the “All-Pine ArtisTree Pack” for F2P MMO Trove, so seriously slim pickings there – although we did just list Trove as one of the best free games for PS4 and Xbox One.

All deals, except for the Trove pack, are only available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers and will expire at 11:00 AM GMT on Tuesday January 16, 2018.
